In Sithonia the must-visits are:
· Beach Paradisos, Lagomandra, Elia, Koviou, Ag. Ioannis, Kalogria, all very-well organized from this side of the peninsula. A must-see beach is also “Spathies”.
· On the mountain over Neos Marmaras in a distance of 5 km is the traditional village Parthenonas at an altitude of 350 meters. Parthenonas takes you back in time to the simple Greek lifestyle of the locals. Nothing moves fast in this village.It is a historical village with stone houses and cobbled streets with lovely views. In the village of Parthenonas you can visit the church of St. Stephen which was built in 1837. Also you can visit the folklore museum. We suggest you to spend an afternoon visiting the village in order to taste traditional culinary specialties and enjoy the sunset. See more......
· After N. Marmaras you must visit: Tristinika (ETHNIK BEACH BAR FOR ITS SUNSET), Porto Koufo (fish village), Kalamitsi beach, Linaraki, Klimataria, Tigania Blue Sea (at Kriaritsi), Platanitsi, Armenistis camping, Kavourotrypes or Orange beach, Karydi beach, Vourvourou, Talgo AND Manasu beach bar.
· Also visit Petralona (for its cave), Aristoteles village, have a cruise around Mount Athos or a boat trip to Diaporos island (turquoise waters).
